ТОО «Qazag Glass Company» - is a company that was founded in the year 2000 as a joint-stock company “Glass Company SAF””. The point which laid the beginning of development of new industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For more than the last 20 years, the company takes the leading position on Kazakh market of producing high quality, ecologically clean glass containers made of clear glass.

ТОО «Qazag Glass Company» produces serial and exclusive glass containers for makers of beer, low alcohol drinks, distilled drinks, wine, non-alcohol drinks and tin can industries.

From the start of activities, 250 of different forms of glassware has been released, ranging from 200 ml to 1900 ml in volume.

TOO “Qazag Glass Company” is an active contributor to the governmental program of Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of environmental protection. According to the Concept of transition of republic of Kazakhstan to “green economy” (confirmed by the Order of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan from 30.05.14, №577) one of the main directions is perfecting the waste management.

In 2022, the company is planning to increase the production power of glassmaking production lines, refitting 2 8 section lines with double blowing BB function to 8 section glassmaking machines with functions of narrow-necked press-blowing – NNPB, increasing the output of the enterprise to 260 million glass product per year

Equipping the enterprise with glassmaking machines with functions of NNPB, the company will not only increasing it’s productivity, but also decreases the harmful waste, leading to decreasing the damage to the environment

Other plans include equipping the system of prepared pallets to all 4 lines with automated control.

Production – what happens?

Step 1: Preparing Raw materials

Raw material components are cleaned off of impurities, after which they are prepared for further preparation and usage

Step 2: Making the Charge

Charge is a dry mix of materials that is served into the furnace to make the glass melt. To get a homogenous mass, while making the charge, the components are weighed to specific proportions before they are mixed.

Step 3: Making Glass Melt

Making the glass melt is the most difficult step in making the Glass container. It is made in uninterrupted ovens, which resemble pools made of fire-proof materials.

Step 4: Formation and Annealing of the product

Once the glass melt is made, it is cooled to the temperature at which it gains viscosity, which is needed to blow glass forms into shape.

After forming the glass products, they are subjected to additional thermal work (annealing) in direct heating furnaces. Thanks to annealing, the glass container retains internal residual pressure, ensuring the product is safe in the process of further work and exploitation.

Step 5: Quality Control and Packaging

after annealing, the bottles are sprayed with a special solvent that protects it from scratches during transport. Last remaining thing the product passes is Quality Control and the Packaging.

Technical Equipment

Wide assortment of glass containers of different forms and volumes, from 200 ml to 1900 ml.

Laboratory for quality control of raw materials, glass melt and final product.

Construction bureau equipped with newest computer technology, which develops forming set for development of exclusive containers.

Production output stands at 220 million units of glass containers.

Company has the ability to delivery final product via railroad or automotive transport.

In terms of main production equipment, the factory has:

Two glass baking ovens total output of 320 tons/day.
Four glass-forming Machines made by BOTTERO (Italy):
• 2 machines IS-8-2 5 ½ method of double blowing BB/Press-blowing PS
• 1 machine IS-6-2 5 ½ method of double blowing BB/Press-blowing PS
• 1 machine IS-8-2 5 ½ method of Narrow Necked Press Blowing NNPB, with function of automatic control of the weight of the output/method of double blowing BB/Press-blowing PS
Annealing ovens by “Car-Met” (Italy)
Packing and transporting equipment MSK (USA)

All technological processes are automated starting from preparation of raw materials and ending with packing the products.

One glass forming machine equipped with automatic inspection machine for finding optical and dynamic defects of glass container body, shoulders, bottom and butt of the whisk. Manufactured by “TIAMA” (France) and VISIO C (China) joint manufacturing with ”TIAMA” (France)

Technical level of technology and production organization is to the level of international standards: quality management system ISO-9001-216 and food products safety management system ST RK ISO 22000-2006. Contains product quality control system based on NASSR,
